converting PSD's to webpages (HTML/CSS)
I'm seeing a huge amount of requests all over the web for converting photoshop files to webpages. Does anyone have experience with doing this by chance? I know it's a huge trend.
It seems as though to me that non-technical people, for the purposes of communicating with technical people without the frustration, are using this .PSD concept to ask for what they want.
My question for any of you guys that do this kind of work - Is this successful by chance? Has anyone run into issues whereby people are PSD files that are basically not possible to produce in HTML/CSS/JS?
I'm just curious. Any comments welcome, especially from those who have participated in this!
PSD is just a image file.
PSD is just the extension associated to Photoshop. I don't know if there are other programs that recognize the extension but for sure it is associated to Photoshop.
Essentially, People are saying here is a picture of what I would like my website to look like but don't know how to code. That's where people who know how to code come into play like myself and design a website for you. We just take your picture and then use that as a reference as to what you want for the website.
It's not actually any more helpful then someone simply telling you what they want in a very good amount of detail.
I hope that helps to clarify things a little bit more for you.
