    cam like a webcam?
also what kind of audio you want to broadcast?
    pre-recorded audio, live stream?......

in any case you will need to start with serious internet connection at your studio. broadband won't do.

if you want to stream, then you need streaming server like icecast or something. you don't do that using apache.
for player itself you could use this: http://www.jplayer.org/

but with regular hosting, all you can do is serving files from server. now you can make playlists and stuff like that, but it won't be streaming as you know it

well jplayer can read most of audio and video formats, so yeah. if your video stream is accesable on the net, then you can configure jplayer to show that stream.
and probably you would have second player for audio (a guess)

documentation is quite clear so u shouldn't have a problem with that

if you are transmitting video too, then yes.
i think jplayer will also be able to show id3 tags of whatever you are streaming so "what's playing" thing will be solved out of box

well then you need to set up video stream so that player on your website had something to show...
if you are using linux, then you can stream your webcam with mjpegstreamer, videolan, or whatever you'll be able to google out.
from windows idk. you'll have to look
