    I need help for building a russian website

    Hi all..
    I have designed a webpage in english now I have to make the russian version.. dont know how to do it bec. I can t see fonts in russian I cant view russian sites..(quotation marks appear instead of letters) english system is installed on my computer.
    they gave me the translation of the text in russian which I am going to put to site but I can t view it either...
    can someone lead me about this..
    I dont know what to do..where to start..do I have to install russian system to my computer just for this??? there must be an easier way...by the way I have no russian fonts is there a site where I can d/l truetype russian fonts for both mac/pc..

    Try putting this on your russian site:


    <HEAD>

    <META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=windows-1251">

    </HEAD>

    and/or this:

    <META http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=koi8-r">

    on a windows machine, to install support for the cyrillic alphabet, you go to the control panel, add/remove programs, windows setup, and then multilanguage support. you can pick which languages you want to support.
