    Question Website CMS/News Section

Alright, I've been doing a fair bit of searching before i posted just to make sure i had no idea what i was talking about. Which I don't. So i just wanted to clarify something to do with website CMS (news sections etc).

    1. I have purchased a website template. I am now wishing to turn that web template front page into a "news" section where i'm able to post and upload information. Do i need a CMS to do this - if so, which is best for not turning my whole site into CMS, just a section of a page? (I know i could manually change DreamWeaver but just wanting to know an easier way).

From what i understand, i have to completely install WordPress/Drupal/Concrete5 but use CSS to change the theme to a custom theme. Is there an easier way you can simply "section" off the front part of the website using CMS and do it that way?
    2. Second, if i do have to use CMS, i am wanting the user to just have to login once, so when going to the CMS part of the site, not needing to relogin with wordpress or whatever, is that possible?
    3. An example i like to use is www.smosh.com, something along the lines of their front page "Smosh Pit".
    4. Finally, RSS feeds, how do they work? Is RSS feeds something i should be looking at for something like I want?

I know it's long. I don't expect you to hold my hand to the door. I am wanting to basically know where to start searching. ANY help would be appreciated.

Ended up solving this one myself. Many PHP scripts out there that use a "include" html command for this sort of thing!

Hi, RSS is a protocol. It is used by website to distribute their content. It allows subscribes to see content within a very short time.
