Question: Privacy info sent when signs up?

    Hello guys,
I hope that this is the right section for my question.
    When I signs up for a website, i.e: adwords,youtube,facebook,etc..
What information they see about me? for example: ip,catch.. etc

    Thanks!

That depends on the service. If you’re in Europe you can request from Facebook all the information they store about you. And they store literally everything; I’ve seen that in the news recently where some law student requested the personal stuff they have about him (and it took him a long time because they released his info reluctantly). Of course, Facebook stores your IP and some cookies (containing personal settings in Facebook), your browser and operating system version but aditionally they store your chat history and even keep info you deleted previously (it’s not publicly visible but they keep it in their archives/database nevertheless). YouTube – and I suppose other sites that provide video content – stores at least the player settings in some flash cookie.
