    valid software opinion...

Hi everyone, I am about to embark on a small piece of my project which is building a web page counter. Can anyone please inform me of the best/industry standard programming language to use. The web site is design in flash 5 and its presently host on a windows2000 server.

    Thanks BOB.G

You can do it in ASP real easy.

I can post the code if you'd like; it isn't like graphical or anything but it is a good base. How are you going to store the count? In a database or in a file?

Edit: : There isn't really a industry standard programming language. The language someone uses depends on lots of factors. There are standards for the languages but not a language that is "better" than the rest, they all have their benfits and their problems.
