    Easiest way for clients

    Hey guys,

I've been practicing web design for the past 5 years or so. I know HTML/CSS very well. But whats the best way to allows clients to update their selves? Do you guys use a CMS? I have a little experience with Joomla!. Or do you charge them a fee for you to update the website? Just wondering if some of you web developers can answer this for me.

Your client's content should be something your client can change themselves. This can be through an admin control panel you built for them, or you can use an existing CMS such as Joomla to handle it.

If you're talking about a redesign, or messing with the CSS, then absolutely you should charge them (unless such changes fall under your original contract with them).
