    my website

    hi

well http://loca.oasiz.net/whispers/ is what I have so far and just looking for a bit of feedback and a teeny bit of help. I think it's soo text-based and looks to me pretty amateurish but this is only the second site I've worked on (the first isnt finished yet)

I'm not too sure if this is the right place to ask for a bit of css help on it as well, how can i get the navigation links to be slightly lower than they are at the moment ie further from the header?
Iíve tried using [ICODE]top:10px; in #navigation, #navigation ul li and #navigation ul but it doesnt seem to work.

Also I've tried to look at my css code but not too sure why there's extra space at the bottom of some of my pages.

This is for my dad, he's trying to start up his own business so want to do as good a job as this as possible for him and for me to include in a portfolio eventually so any help would be appreciated.

Start with #2 in the forum guidelines:
    2) Type in a subject that summarizes your question- A great way to turn off other members wanting to help you is to type an incomplete or silly subject for your post. Examples of poor subject titles include:

    - "Help!"
    - "I'm a newbie...be gentle"
    - "How can I..."
    - "Urgent...deadline tomorrow!"

The above subjects either have absolutely nothing to do with the question itself, or are grossly incomplete (ie: "How can I..."). When asking for help, enter a subject that summarizes your question, period! Don't use silly, incomplete, or "bait" subjects. Some examples of good titles are:

    - "How do I round a number to 2 decimal places using JavaScript?"
    - "What's the difference between require() and include() in PHP?"
    - "Can someone suggest a good, free HTML editor?"
For the feedback, there's a separate Site Reviews subforum that would work best. And for the CSS questions, that forum that says HTML/CSS would get you the best response. PM a mod and ask if you can get your post moved. You'll get more and better help that way.

Click up to the forum level and then scroll to the bottom. You can find a list of them there. It might be easier to just report your own post using the flag icon to the left. I don't know if they care which way, but that would get quick attention.
