If I pick up some images from wikimedia commons licensed like this, and publish them on my site with clearly stated who author is, link to original wikimedia commons authors page provided .....Attribution — You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor (but not in any way that suggests that they endorse you or your use of the work).
Do I have to look for each author permission to do that ? Bold stuff suggest that I should , coz there is nowhere specified the manner !?
hmm, here: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Co...ikimedia#CC-BY
in the manner specified by the author is left out. When re-using the work or distributing it, you must attribute the work to the author(s) and you must mention the license terms or a link to them. You must make your version available under CC-BY-SA.
