    Source Code Problems

For some reason my source code button on my tool bar is not working at all. Ican't even view the source code on my sites, or yahoo, so I figure that someone sent a cookie into my system to turn it off. Any ideas about how to fix it?

Cookies aren't capable of changing your browser in any way, they are simply text files of limited size that allow a remote site to store a limited amount information on your computer. They are used in a variety of ways but they can only be created, changed, read or deleted and there's no content they can contain that alters your browser. I only mention this so you can relax a bit concerning cookies changing things, it should still be noted that cookies can be used abusively but not in this fashion.

The question though is what browser are you using that provides a "Source Code" button on the toolbar? We know of several ways to create such buttons but they are dependant on the browser in question. Meanwhile, you should still be able to right-click on a web page to bring up a menu with "view source" as an option plus that should also be available from the browser's main menu too so you shouldn't be totally out of luck while you are trying to get the broken button fixed.
