    Question frames question

    I have a drop down bar (not sure of the technical name, but you its one of those ones where you scroll then press Go) but when I press the button it is opening in that frame.

    I want it to open (of course) in the main frame.

    Here is my frame set

    <frameset cols="143,*" onload="CSScriptInit();">
    <frame name="left" noresize src="left.html">
    <frameset rows="97,*">
    <frame name="top" noresize src="top.html">
    <frame name="right" noresize src="index1.html">

    </frameset>
    </frameset>

    So what do I have to put before/after the GO button to make it open in the right frame (index1.html)

    Sorry if it's confusing, I'm using GoLive and it generated the frame part.

    Code:
    <script language="javascript">
    function jump(form) {
    var myindex=form.menu.selectedIndex
    if (form.menu.options[myindex].value != "0")
    {
    window.open(form.menu.options[myindex].value,
    target="yourframename");
    }
    }
    //-->
    </script>

    <form name="yourname">
    <select name="menu" style="background-color: #CC99FF ;
    font size=10 ; font-family: comic sans ms; color:#ffff00"
    size="1" onchange="jump(this.form)">

    <option value="0">Where to?</option>   <--add a "header" here (don't include this in your code).
    <option value="0"></option>   <--this adds a space (don't include this in your code).
    <option value="http://www.whatever.com">Home</option>
    <option value="http://www.whatever.com/fun.html">Fun Stuff</option>

    </select>
    </form>

    ok thanks... the problem was with the go button, so i just got rid of it.

    now, another quick question on hosting.

    there is a $90/yr 1000mb web space, 1000 pop email accounts, 50gb transfer (http://www.globat.com/)

    I have one I found for $50/yr but it was only 25mb web storage, 5email accounts (no big deal) and 1gb bandwidth. (www.peoplehost.com)

    How long do you think the peoplehost one will last me before I should upgrade and is there a better deal then the globat one (deal ends in 2 days)
