Creating a thumbnail of a HTML page?

We have a large library of HTML files on our server. Currently I've just got a directory recursion script generating links to each; however, a file name isn't the best description of what's in the file; what would be fantastic is to be able to generate an image thumbnail of the HTML file - rather like when you hover over a tab in Firefox.

I don't know how it could be done, though. Could something like imagemagick generate images from HTML? Has anyone done something like this before? Any pointers?

    Thanks

    Aha. Apologies, and thank you.
