    redirecting according to URL

Hi. I have a website that is being hosted by a hosting company. I have a second website that also needs hosting. Is there any way that I can point them both to the same hosting, but then have them redirect into their separate directories according to the URL that is being sought? This way, I could have multiple sites with their own domains - with only hosting account.

    Thanks!

I'm guessing you mean buying two domain names that redirect to one web host. Like domain

    www.aardvark.tv points to

    http://www.myhost.com/usern/aard_site/index.html

    and

    www.hippo.au points to

    http://www.myhost.com/usern/hippo/main.html

Yes, this can be done. You'll have to talk the company that you're gonna buy your domains from. They'll be able to set up the redirecting, or tell you how to configure it yourself.

It's possible, I can do it with my domain manager. But I'm not sure if anyone else has the same so I can't exactly tell you how to do it, just that it can be done.

Do you have a zone manager or something like that? usually at your registrar. It's configurable there. Well it should be.

If you can't find it just email your domain provider and I'm sure they'll help you configure it.
