    I want to know is there any code that could be put in the webpages to know the name of the url who visit my webpage
    Please guide me.

    You mean to see where ppl have come from to see your site? You'll need server side language support or you could go with something like www.hitbox.com (if they're still free?)

    Man you really need to tell us what type of language you want to do this in.

    For asp it is: referer = request.serverVariables("HTTP_REFERER")

    tracing the referer can be done client side via javascript i believe ...

    Correct, document.referrer ...

    You can't really record the result though that's why serverside is better..

    yes recording is a different issue.

    however if you dont have server side access ....
