    Dynamic page display without PHP/sql?

I work for a recreation dept. They opperate many ball fields. Each day they update me on which are playable and which are not and want this to post on the web.

While this isnt really horrible, Id much rather make this automated, where I (or someone much stupider) could go to an admin page somehwhere or soemthing like it, and fill in a check box next to each one that is open. Then on a page, that i wouldnt have to touch it would show the open fields.

I know that this is easy in PHP. but we arnt set up with that type of tech here, and I dont want to go that route. So what else can I do? Is this javascriptable? Java Aplet? not possible?

    thanks for any advice!

Server-side would probably be the best. You mentioned your server doesn't support PHP, but does it support ASP? Because you could also do it in that.

Without using a server-side language you can't really save any information to the server because the data needs to be processed there.
