    (D)DoS Protection?

I think someone tried to DoS my site last night. I was looking at my bandwidth a few days earlier, and I had only used 3.9GB of it. I looked at it this morning, and I had used 67GB of it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I need some help with preventing a larger, more organized attack from happening.
