    ads in phpbb3 forum

I'm trying to put some ads in my new phpbb3 forum and I read somewhere that you have to put at the last line of the overall_header file the code, I did that and nothing is appearing. Does anyone have any solutions to this?

That is right but it needs to be in the tpl file for your template. Did you change the default template for phpbb3?

What was the path to the tpl file you were editing? Was it the one in your theme's folder? There is a separate overall_header.tpl file for each theme.

I tried editing the .html files in the style like overall_header.html. I don't see .tpl files anywhere. I should look for it?

I edit it the way that phpbb tells me to do it on their website but I keep getting this error everywhere I try to insert it

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in tpl_DVGFX2_overall_footer.html.php on line 16
