    content management

I am looking to develop a future website project where I want people to be able to have people register and able to post their research upon admin approval. Which do you think would be the best system to use?

Could you use a blogging system?
Change the theme of it, from the appearance of a blog, in blog post format; to tabular data. You could make a usergroup that could write the 'articles', and you as the admin can approve them. You could use Wordpress.

So you would have to change the theme, and make the PHP data be displayed in tables.

    I say Joomla!.
You can register w/out admin approval, but you can download a component called 'CommunityBuilder' and you get a tonne of options there.
Maybe a Content Management Systems sticky should be made.
