moving website from hosting service provider...

I'm thinking of moving my site from my current hosting service provider to another one (cheaper with more services), and I wanted to know what the right procedure to migrate my site [if there's one] I have a complete backup of my blog (wordpress) in my localmachine, I guess the next step would be to back up the content [database containing the posts] and later restore it at the new hosing service...

could anyone tell me if this would be enough
    thanks

Yep that should be enough. You could even use your current host's backup feature and upload it to a new host and then decompress it using their backup options.
