    General website prices?

How much do web sites tend to go for around the world? I'm talking a medium-sized website. Think doctors practise, restaurant, manufacturing business, anything that doesn't require a hugely complicated site.

Around the world? Thats a pretty complicated question. I can only answer around Chicago really. A medium sized website built by a professional could range anywhere from $500-$10,000. It honestly depends on all of the requirements for the site and who you pick to develop the site. The best people are going to charge more, but that cost can be worth it if they develop a site which increases your sales instead of a cheaper site that people can't find or don't like. It also depends on where the designer is from.
