    Lightbulb php or javascript

    hi friends ,

    I was searching the internet about doing graphics with php. Then i found that graphics can also be done through java script functions . There are many Jquery plugins to do almost evry thing which php does(beside talking with server).

    So i want to know should i try to do evrything in PHP or javascript like displaying thing and any other).
    As almost everything is possible in both . I am confused with this

    PHP, no reason to rely on something the client may or may not have when you can do it yourself and know it will work.

    additionally, javascript can get pretty buggy (php can too depending), however, if something bad does happen, if it's on the client's end they're likely not to come back, whereas if it's a server glitch, the user might be mildly annoyed but it's likely they'll come back later.

    additionally you can create memory leaks with javascript that would bog down the client's computer, they typically don't appreciate this. usually it's not an issue if you free your resources after you are finished with them.

    php is really the safe bet, it doesn't make the client machine work and there's very little risk involved in viewing the page for the end user, so even if everything doesn't go as planned, if your content is good, it's likely they'll keep coming back for more.
