    designing for the desktop

    Hi,

I've been looking for good references on intranet site design; namely, regarding things that cannot be done online, such as using hta's, accessing local files, and all things related to client-side only applications.

I know that Microsoft has a full library of info., but I want to find some other resources--if they exist (preferably with plenty of good examples).

Any links would be appreciated (Google hasn't been too helpful this area...); thanks.

as far as i know, the best that's out there is the Microsoft library, though i guess maybe you might be interested in www.virtualplastic.net , too.
