    It doesn't seem to fit into an 800x600 resolution.
    I find the blue letters of the navigation hard to see.
    Animated images are... well... nevermind, that's my opinion

    Boards was the only link that seems to work in your navigation. It goes to a page that has a very different layout that your main one.

    It looks like you have some good thoughts and planning in your site thus far, keep up the good work.

    Well...

    I'm still suffering from a bad morning temper, so i'll try to be nice:
    • Inconsistent use of far to many different fonts;
    • Doesn't fit a 800x600 screen;
    • ugly animated gif bird;
    • illegible links (bordering on "mystery meat");
    • "Latest news" is a real clever trick, but black text on a dark blue background never read very well.

    On the code side, your style declarations are in the wrong place and intermixed with script declarations. Styles should be in the head element, and nowhere else; scripts can be both in the head and in the body.
    Oh, and disabling right clicking is sooooooo incredibly not done! Especially if you ask people to review your site.
    Nice header graphic, though.
    Regards,
    Ronald.

    i know, i decided to change it around a bunch, and only the home page has finished.....partially. i know, only one link works, thats on purpose. and i am attempting to figure out why part of the menu amd the back round wont show.
    and i know it doesnt fit into 800x600 resolution, it looks better in the next size up.
    i am gunna delete the flying eagle once the contest i am in is over. its in FBLA and the theme is Soaring to New Heights.....so it kinda fits. but thanks for the sugestions.

    your preload images are pointing to your pc:

    onLoad="preloadImages();" background="c:\windows\desktop\tyler\rebirth_1024\rebirth_1024.jpg">

    make sure your image references are pointing to the right place.

    i have to agree with the other comments here, and i would add that the opposite color scrollbar is confusing- i suggest you lose it.

    sorry!

    I have to say that the bird that flaps its wings but goes nowhere does look rather ridiculous. Animated gifs CAN be attractive and enhance a site, but this is not one of them.

    I suggest that if you make your "no right click" silent, that is suppress the alert.

    how is it that it won't affect the site?? isn't that the exact pic you're trying to get to work- the background??

    change the url to the uploaded file, not the file on your computer, and it will probably work.

    it wasnt affecting it because i didnt have it in the right place. i fixed it though, so now it works.

    also, has anyone ever seen a webpage where the bg picture stays still when you scroll? does anyone have any idea how to do that?

    As others have suggested: Change the colors to be more legible! I can't see the links at all on my monitor.

    Also, I disagree about the animated gifs, I think it's a cool gif, but just use one, the double animations look cheesy IMHO.

    You can make the background "not scroll" by using CSS, but I can't remember the attribute off-hand, may want to do a search...

    Possibly:
    background: fixed

    You can use CSS...

    <style type="text/css">
    <!--
    body {
    background-image : url(http://www.domainname.com/imagename.gif);
    background-attachment : fixed;
    }
    -->
    </style>

    Or you can put this in the opening BODY tag...

    bgproperties="fixed"

    Either way, its an IE only feature. Netscape don't do it.

    What you mean that one where if you hold down the right button and press enter to get rid of the alert than lift up the button is by-passed?

    Couldn't resist.

    I echo the ditch the bird statement.
