    Looking for forum on Newsletters!!

I have problems with sending Newsletters in the form of emails, especially to users of Hotmail: how to make rollovers, use list boxes etc. Does anyone know a forum where I these kind of issues are discussed?

Well, sending html email is asking for trubble. First off, many have html turned off. Secondly, javascript email is the #1 way to trigger viruses...again, switched off. Although Hotmail is popular, just wait till you try AOL...a paltry 30 million

    I think there's a email forum @ Tek-Tips

    Hi Zoobie,

Thansk for your repley. What are alternatives to HTML-email? Is it possible to make links etc. in pdf? Or is flash a better solution? What do you mean with AOL?

Alternatives to html=plain text (users browser renders according to their settings)...just plain text...reliable.

Dunno about adobe acrobat...but I'd hate to receive an email where I had to open that thing to read it.
Dunno about flash, either...but with the preloading and waiting, it doesn't seem very good.

AOL is the hardest email in which to get your html to display. Trust me...your's isn't.

Perhaps you could find a good script @ Hotscripts

I agree with Zoobie, plain text is the way to go with emails. If you want to see a great way to format text newsletters, I always liked the ones from http://www.infoworld.com
