The best fonts for web pages are the select few that are practically standard. There is not a best font for graphics, but I shy away from text in graphics if at all possible. The key is to make a branding effect with your text, and there is almost an industry devoted to this very question, so this question is far to broad to get a quality answer. Perhaps try and talk about a specific example?

As has been mentioned, typefaces are generally unique things. On screen, print rules are reversed--serifs are generally better for headings and sans-serif for main text. Either way, it's hard to read that glow.

& really, don't save that writing as JPEG...

I know this is probably completely irrelevant, and I probably shouldn't even post it, but... I find it amusing:

Yeah, I love it. (I hate Novell, BTW)

Novell BorderManager Proxy (quite possibly one of the gayest programs in existance) blocks just about every useful page in the world. Hence, the picture. I can't view it, because it's blocked by Novell.

Does it happen to block every website that has the letters a, e, i, o or u in its name? Anyway, believe me, it's NOTHING compared to the "London Grid of Learning" firewall. It actually sends you back a page every time you try to click on a link, so it's a race against time to press "Forward" twice

Wow, that is hilarious. thanks guys and CyanLight what do you mean by not saving as JPEG? Also, is it better to underline, bold and italize text by using, codes such as "<strong> blah </strong> or use CSS?
