Are there any online galleries that I can add to my site other than Coppermine? If there isn't, is there a way I create create my own gallery?

if you know php,css and js you can make your own. Otherwise a simple google will give you thousands of results for free and paid.

Is there a reason you don't want to use Coppermine?

Checkout the "Image Galleries" menu at this link - http://www.opensourcecms.com/ It contains a list and demo copies of the popular open source scripts.
If you are learning PHP, developing PHP code, or debugging PHP code, do yourself a favor and check your web server log for errors and/or turn on full PHP error reporting in php.ini or in a .htaccess file to get PHP to help you.

    I highly recommend ZenPhoto
    www.zenphoto.org
I've been using it for a year or so (since its first release) and it's a great bit of kit. The latest version is really promising.
