    WebDesign troubles

    Ok, I'm going to do the best I can to explain this.
    http://everythingzen.freehostia.com/
    That right there is my site that I'm making for simply just experience. You may want to have that open as you are reading this to make this as simple as possible.

    As you see there is a left pannel and a right pannel. Then I have a middle div... When the middle div exceeds those pannels my footer drops down and looks pretty retarded. Example= http://everythingzen.freehostia.com/php104.php

    So I want to make the two side pannels extend as the text in the middle div expands... I hope I've explained this well enough for you to understand what I'm trying to do.

    So please tell me if this is possible and what do I need to learn or do in order to make this happen.

    You can use faux columns which I prefer or you can use javascript: http://www.projectseven.com/tutorials/css/pvii_columns/

    Well considering that I don't know JS, that only leaves me one real choice... Thank you for the reply... That is actually kind of embarrassing like that site said. Wow, that was one of the first techniques I learned!

    ONE PROBLEM
    body {
    background: url(bg.png)repeat-y 100% width 100%;
    }

    This has too many values... but I need the width to be at 100%...
