    Using uncommon Fonts

    Hello all,

if i use a uncommon windows font on my web page is it possible to just add the font file to the directory that the page sits in?

    will the font then work?
if its a windows font will it still work on a mac?

do i have to include both windows and mac font formats?

thanks for your help in advance,

    - Baleric

To answer your first question, no. It won't work. If the user's system doesn't have the specified font it won't work. You can use sifr which allows you to have rich type text. Its not recommended that you use it for your whole page as it will make load times extremely long. Use it sparingly for like headers.
