    Remove Ads by Google

I recently came a across an opensource project/game on sourceforge and downloaded it to test out locally on my WAMP install.

However, on various web pages (being viewed locally), it is showing 'Adds by Google'.

I'd like to maybe place the project/game on my own site, but would like to remove these adds. I'm looking through the various code (there's alot of it), but I can not seem to locate what I need to remove to get rid of the adds.

Is anyone familiar with the what code it uses?

i think the ad's are probably there so that the owner can make some money from it and its probably a term of use that you keep the ad's on

Even in an opensource project though?

I'm viewing everything via localhost on a local install. I would think on an opensource project, where you have all of the code, and can host the project anywhere, these should be able to be removed.

I just found it, and learned more on the code.

Its setup to allow for Ads in general. There's a simple True / False to have the ads displayed.
