    Can I see animated .gifs?

I have put together a simple web site for a friend and I have an unusual problem: The friend wanted an animated gif (which I normally don't recommend) but I added it anyway.

My home office has three networked W2k machines with a DSL line. When I try to view the animation from the machine I created it on (and use most of the time) the animation doesn't work in IE v. 5.5 or Opera. When I move to one of the other machines the animation works perfectly no matter what browser I use. It also works from most any other computer I go to.

I don't believe it is Zone Alarm as I have it installed on all three machines here in my office.

Does this have to do with some setting in IE and Opera? Is it something in the OS on this machine???

    I am stumped...

BTW, this is my first time on this great forum! Keep up the good work guys!

Justa thought...Maybe you're computer that doesn't run the gif has them turned off. Look in tools>internet options>advanced and check 'play animations in web pages'.
Zoobie or not Zoobie...That is the problem.
