    PHP host?

    Hi all,

Does anyone know of a good free host that supports PHP and MySQL? I'm trying to start a forum, but I'm still new to this kind of stuff.

    Thanks,
    Louise

    Hello Louise,

I use free hosting for pretty long some are good and bad. I recomend a hoster called hyperphp, this have mysql so you can a forum plus this hoster is not have adverts on your site like some so its good.

Hyperphp gives me 250MB of disk, you get a sub domain name if you know what that is and you can also use your own domain too.

    The address is : http://hyperphp.com

If you need any help with your PHP i am very good at codes and design so please post again if i can help. Bye for now

New person asks for a free host recommendation on their first post and gets an answer within 2 minutes by another new person on their first post. Could this be spam, or am I just a cynic?

In this case no because the information was asked for so its relevant.

So should I post my hosting company's contact info here in response, or log in under a fake name to do that?

    Nevermind.

HE/she didn't answer my post how long has it been online I registered to the host and it looks decent, so why wouldn't he share it with others. Where else can someone adwertise FREE hosting if not here

Nah, I'm not in that spectrum of the market. Those who are don't last long, unfortunately, so get it while you can.

that's why finding the one who is long ont the market is always good. weather it is a cheap marketing trick or not, i hope that this hosting lasts for a long time... . funny how ppl keep their good free host to themselves thinking that showing off will do them harm.. haha
    get my point..

Well the only host i've ever used is http://www.heliohost.org/intro.html
I've been using them since I started as a hobby two months ago. Since I'm not allowed use credit cards over the net, free is my only option[strict parents]. They offer php and msql services, free domains, cpanel, and fantastico. Its all free with an advertisement or posting on their forum, which you don't have to if your smart.
    Just a friendly recommendation.

    Hello,

I think free services have came a long way since the start of the internet, such as free email (gmail/yahoo and many more) free video hosting such as yourtube and other copies, I think free hosting is now a reliable service even if free! The support i get from my free host is better than two paid hosts i have used!

hyperphp.com is part of Byethost who are the biggest free hosts on the net. they are banner free that means no adverts They use a cluster of webserver according to their site and i read about this is good!

Look at this pictire of thew control panel you get and features :

    hyperphp.com/cpanelpreview.php

I make a small list of features here too all this they give me free, i have three accounts

    Bannerless : No adverts
    PHP Flags manager
    250 MB disk space
    Automatic installer (29 scripts)
    6 GB Monthly transfer
    FTP account
    3 MySQL databases
    File manager (browser upload)
    5 Add-on domains
    Php MyAdmin
    5 Sub domains
    Password protected folders
    POP email accounts
    Web mail

I am very satisfied with this free host and think yous who say free hosting is not reliable you should try the lastest hosters! i say you use hyperphp.com !
