    i dont know if this is the correct forum but..

    i have made a enhanced CD that contains a java applet called fade.class now my problem is if i view the enhanced stuff on my computer (as in the files running actually on my computer) it works but if i run the same thing off the CD it doesnt.. it comes up with a GREY screen.. how can i sort this out?

    Are you using absolute paths to define the codebase? remember, your CD drive has a different drive letter than your hard drive....

    BUT! Cd drive letters aren't always the same.

    I myself have A:\ C:\ D:\ E:\ F:\ with E & F being cd-drom/dvd-rom/cd-r

    If you are using absolute paths, don't. Structure your files so that relative paths will work regardless of where they (as a whole) have been copied to.
