    Site-wide persistent information from user?

Okay, I'm sure there are a multitude of ways to handle this. I have a site that collects info through forms. Some of the information is common to all forms (Name, address, phone, etc.) and I'd like to have the ability to 'remember' the information for later use. I mostly use vbscript for ASP. Are cookies pretty much the standard way to handle this?

I want to give the user the option to select 'remember my info', then have it pre-entered into any form they choose at some later point. Thoughts? Thanks...
