Ah, the beginning of the fractional part of the constant pi. . .
So refreshing to see something mathematical here.
    PHP Code:
    $hello file_get_contents('hello.txt'); echo $hello
    hello

Hmm... that person could buy an additional subdomain called "3" - wouldn't that be fun?

By the way: How bored must a man be to find such a website?

My former roommate had close to 3000 digits of π memorized. One of my coworkers right now will recite a couple hundred on demand as well.

    Long, longer, longest?

Is that one actually longer than the previously established longest domain name?

    http://www.llanfairpwllgwyngyllgoger...ogogogoch.com/ (I didn't count... )

    Edit:
Well, waddayaknow: it actually is. By one character! (Not a very convincing victory...)
    For you non-believers:
    Code:

It might not be longer but I think it's certainly at least as hard to keep in mind as the first 63 numbers of pi.

i had an argument about pi and fictitious numbers with someone the other day.

he was basically trying to tell me that since pi is not a real number, a circle doesnt exist....

i thought my head would explode.

Wow. That's worse than the discussion at the Classic QBasic.com Forums where we were trying to convert to base pi (it doesn't work).

Also, somebody with a reasonable head on shoulders pointed out in that discussion that a circle using measurements in base pi would look like a square.

    PHP Code:
    $hello file_get_contents('hello.txt'); echo $hello
    hello
