I dont know if most of you or hardly any of you have herd of the new worm called bropia what it does is targets msn messenger aol etc and sends all the contacts online a file example "she could fit her *** in a teacup.jpg.pif" i got one through today called " titcanic.jpg" ( renamed to make it look like an image. ) and stupid me acsepted the F***ing thing and endend up sending it to jamie ( weazel ) and outher people luckly no one ecsepted jamie informed me straight away and i managed to delete this worm and get a free adition of anti virus as my norton has expired anyway the reason i am posting a message is so that everyone is aware of this stupid worm wich has no reason for existing.

I've had quite a few people try and send it me over the last couple of weeks, however the worm itself (over 8 or 9 variants) has been around for 2 months or more now.

I'm thinking of writing a flippin' tutorial in getting rid of it, as I've told so many people that they have it on their computers and are totally unaware of it....just shows how many kids look after their PC's

    Helpful!

    ... writing a flippin' tutorial...
I haven't encountered it myself yet -I'm very suspicious- but I guess you would do many people a favor. Put it up on your site for easy linkage: presto!

Yeh Steve - Symantec released a fix tool for bropia (well two fix tools to cover different versions)..I've been handing out copies to loads of kids I know so they can shift it from their PC's. I havent got it luckily, and havent got it. Even if I did, my AV software would detect it straight away, as AVG is pretty bullet proof.

Norton Antivirus is total rubbish mate, get AVG Antivirus - even the free edition is better than NAV full stop
