    Safari 1.2 out

Does anyone here know the answer to these three questions:
    - Is it Panther only or may also Jaguar users update this time?
    - What are the overwhelming standards support improvements this time?
    - Have they fixed the lousy cashing and bad error handling yet?

    Looks like Panther-only.

I don't see much on the blog scene about it either...

I have only seen Daring Fireball mention it in the OmniWeb 5.0 Beta review. Hyatt has been quiet for some time. Nothing from Mark Pilgrim yet. And nothing from the rest, either.

Sean Corfield had this to say atAn Architect's View
The latest update of Safari is available for Panther users (Jaguar users are still stuck with 1.0). Apple's big push point for this release seems to be support for LiveConnect, allowing JavaScript control over Java applets, but I think most people will be more interested in resumable downloads and full keyboard navigation (as well as "Improved compatibility with websites and web applications", whatever that means).
I'm not a mac user, so this doesn't mean much to me, but thought I'd pass it on seeing as you asked
    Andrew

I take no responsibility for the above nonsense.
