    Oracle Java

    What do you guys think the acquisition of Sun Microsystems by Oracle will mean for the future of the Java programming language?

    That was awhile ago now.
    As long as oracle doesn't start charging for Java then there will be no issue. I would assume there will be a builtin Oracle native driver soon, as I don't believe that there currently is (or maybe there is now? I'm pretty sure there wasn't in the past).
    PHP Code:
    header('HTTP/1.1 420 Enhance Your Calm');
    Been gone for a few months, and haven't programmed in that long of a time. Meh, I'll wing it ;)

    Generally Java will remain in use but it might be updated to newer versions...
