Everybody please welcome whammy as a mod!

Specifically, to the ASP forum. Most members should be aware of whammy through his strong and helpful presence on the old WA forum.

Now, I know I've said there will be a more formal process of soliciting mods in the next couple of months, and this in all likelihood still stands. Whammy can be called a "user selected" mod, as I've been getting quite a few PMs recommending him.

On behalf of CF, welcome Whammy!

who's going to teach Whammy the ways of the Mod-gun? it's a weapon from a nobler, more civilized age.

Oh gosh was that wise. j/k Congrats whammy.

P.S. Didn't there use to be an american gameshow many years ago that used the term "whammy" People would hit a button as a little light went around a board with prizes and there were whammy's that would take away their money if they landed on one so they would yell "No whammy's" lol

for those of you who care, it was called Press Your Luck, and it can still be found on the Game Show network.

yes, there is such a thing, unfortunately.

    Welcome Whammy

... just dont expect me to be all nice to an ASP head just cos you are a mod now

now if we can only turn you away from the dark side ... its your destiny whammy

good to have you here !
    resistance is...

MVC is the current buzz in web application architectures. It comes from event-driven desktop application design and doesn't fit into web application design very well. But luckily nobody really knows what MVC means, so we can call our presentation layer separation mechanism MVC and move on. (Rasmus Lerdorf)

Whammy has always been a helpful member, I'm pleased for him and he deserves the honour of mod-ship.
