    Why becomme one ?

Anyway, if WA needs some extra moderators he post a call here and all candidates then are carefully and thoroughly evaluated. It's been asked here before so a quick search should give some other input.

You can give me just 75 and I'll put in a good word. My paypal is...

Like raf said, George will ask when he needs more. But currently I'm pretty sure we are fine. However you don't need to be a moderator to help people.

You wouldn't have believed the 'evaluation' I had to go through ... honestly ... frat rites are nothing ...

Kylena: Not necessarily, the forums are pretty much well-behaved. Our work is pretty minimal when it comes to using moderator priveledges.

I hear vBulletin 3.0 when it comes out will support a natural selection process of moderators via a "karma" feature. With it helpful members will be more easily identified, and hence easier for me to choose a mod out of this reduced pool of people to promote to mod, or mod to supermod.

Surely someone that thinks IE is the strongest link could never be a moderator.

ok.. so maybe being a mod here wont get you money or women (Unless of course you do fall for it and send money to the mods to put in a good word for you ).... but power... I dunno... some people really want the mod gun :P

    hehehe

George... will vb3 just be an upgrade, or will it be a hassle to implement and mess a lot of stuff up!???

    Is that normal ?
