    Resolving issues

I cannot figure out how to resolve an issue I posted...
Before the slamming begins... Yes, I did search it, and found "how to do it".... the forum instructions state to goto original post and edit your original and add a prefix "resolved" .... You only have 14 days to do so...
    two problems...
the first is I cannot edit my original post to add the prefix "resolved"
the second is, if 14 days go by and "forgot to resolve" or just didnt get it done, how do you clear it out?

You can find all threads that you started by going to your profile and searching for them. I've made it easy for you

As for the resolved part, if it has been more than 14 days you would have to talk to an admin.

I can already find my posts... That is not issue. Problem is my threads (oldest one is 7 days) cannot be modified to add "resolved" to it... ?

So you clicked "Edit" on your post and then you clicked "Go Advanced"? The "resolve" option should be available in the "Go Advanced" section.

no- that is the problem. There is no option of Edit (and the post is only 7- going on 8- days old). I've tried accessing it via profile\all threads and also by going into the forum posted in and selecting it... a perfect example is the one posted in this forum.... No matter what I do I can't "Edit" it... I can only quote/multi-quote....

On my posts, the edit option disappears 24 hours after the post was made.

PM a mod for the relevant forum. They'd be happy to mark the post for you; it only takes a moment.
