    There is a time limit from the time you made a post in which you can edit that post. After that period you can contact and mod or I to edit a post.

    I think it is totally inadequate that the server time runs off so fast and you can't post properly - that happened to me many times and I just always copied the whole text started a new session and immediately posted it - so nothing can get lost and you have your post the way you want it.

    You are referring to the session timeout correct?
    I have always gotten into the habit of copying myself, you never know when you may drop; however, if its an error like database connectivity or whatnots, refreshing and resubmitting the post data tends to work just fine. When it comes to being logged out, although this isn't actually mentioned anywhere it should retain your post data. This means when you log back in it should automatically submit the post for you.
    PHP Code:
    header('HTTP/1.1 420 Enhance Your Calm');
