    CF updated to new version!

    Hi guys:
    After a few hours, CF is now running the latest version of vBulletin! You can see a list of the new features on VB's site, though probably only a very small subset will be utilized. In the next few days, I'll be making additional, incremental tweaks. If you run into any oddities or have a request, please post them here.

    I like the new anti-spam interface, that will be nice to try out. And the inline authentication is probably a solid idea. The thread tagging could be useful but maybe only allow people that are in the active members lounge and have avatars to add tags.

    I don't think the public messaging system on profiles is a good idea, it has "spammer heaven" written all over it.

    And what happened to our badges?

    shall we remove the following code?
    "Top white image, above navigation"
    Code:
    <table width="100&#37;" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" align="center">
    <tbody>
      <tr>
        <td align="right" id="header_right_cell"></td>
      </tr>
    </tbody>
    </table>
    and following style for #cfnavbar [green line]
    Code:
    border-top:1px solid #579F09;
    CF looks much better.. WA!!

    I've also lost my helpful member award image. And the visitor count seems okay. I've refreshed the page twice and its still at 4 not 6.

    The publish messaging system has always been there. It doesn't show up to non registered users however. When you log out the top navigation looks incomplete because the usercp link goes away and there is no register or link anywhere. It appears okay once you go to the home page because the register link is there.

    I like the registration system "captcha". It makes you do something simple but not simple enough as to have a bot read understand what to do.

    Maybe that takes care of itself automatically after subsequent visits?

    I didn't notice the missing badges. I'll take care of that when I tweak the usergroup settings. Also some of the styling issues mentioned above. Keep feedback coming.

    Probably Anyway, I've not visited for a couple of weeks due to a surprise visit by a group of my friends eating all my time, so it's probably for the best.
