    Flash High Score list using PHP

    Is it possible to export variables from a Flash game (such as a highscore) into a MySQL database using PHP? I want to do it, but I don't have Perl on my webserver (Perl being the only way to do it, so I was told).

    u can do this with any serverside programming language, not just perl. u've to use the getURL function with the values to be passed to the php script as url-encoded parameters sorta like

    Code:
    var score = 100;
    getURL('updateHiScore.php?score=' + score);

    I'm using Flash MX, not Flash 8 - I could get the trial of Flash 8 though - would that still work?
