Question Converting flash to .gif online

    Hi,

I want to mainain the interactivity of the flash file on my site but still allow visitors to copy that file to their computers as .gif, how do I do that?

    Is there a script?

    Please advise, thanks.

You can't, a gif can not be interactive.

ya, I know, I want it to be in flash format on the website to allow for interactivity while the visitors are online.
But is there a way to also let them save that image into their hard drive as .gif file?
Interactivity online but just normal image .gif when they save.

Alt-Print screen? Nothing I know of that will do that automatically though. You could give instructions to do so however.

I happened to read this yesterday and today I accidentally found your answer.
    Sort of.

I just noticed in Adobe ImageReady CS under File>Export -- you have the ability to export a swf into Imageready, converting it to an animated gif.

True you cant do it online but you can tell people how to do it if they need to.
I do not know about previous versions of ImageReady.
