display backup image in case flash not supported?

I have a html page which displays a swf containing a button which plays a sound when clicked.. In case a visitor doesn't have Flash, what is the best way to have that same button image displayed exactly in the same position as it is in the swf (that way, for non-flash visitors, the button will still appear in the same place but just won't play a sound when clicked)? Could I somehow place the backup image underneath the swf using absolute positioning? If so how? Thank you

Check out swfObject to embed your flash.
You can specify a fall back image in the code

    Hello everyone!!

I am having the same issue. I tried many things like conversion of swf files and so more. I am searching on Google and find this forum I think this gives a solution to me because I am not good at this so please reply me.

    Thank you all in advance.

wow my post got pretty popular over the past million years that I've been away.. I guess it is a pretty sweet post.. thanks for the help, but I've since decided that I'm going to build a predominantly Flash site so its really useless to me now.. I figure nearly everyone can view Flash content at this point, and over the past months I've learned even more Flash and the great things I can do with it.. so anyways thanks for the replies, I'll try to stop by more often.
