    CS4-AS2:Checking to see if an mc container is empty

    I'm working with a scroll window component where the scrolling content has buttons that load mc's into a container in front of the scrolling window. At the same time I need to disable the buttons on the scrolling content. I'm using this:
    Code:
    calendarPagesBtn_mc.onRelease = function(){
    	_level0.slideHolder_mc.attachMovie("calendarPages", "calendarPages", _level0.slideHolder_mc.getNextHighestDepth());
    	this.enabled = false;
    	};
    Which works fine. However I now need to re-enable the buttons when the slideHolder_mc is empty, so I think what I need to do is check that it has no content. This is what I've tried:
    Code:
    if (!_level0.slideHolder_mc.content)
    this.calendarPagesBtn_mc.enabled = true;
    But it's not working. Any help would be appreciated!

    Its probably a path issue, using this.something means you are starting with the current movie Clip, have you tried putting in a more direct path?
