    mouse hover AS3

    Hello

    I have a client that is looking at some before/after photo effects at www.alevelfx.com and wishes to have the same thing done to some of his photos. I know how to make an object follow the mouse in AS3 but not really sure how to apply this type of effect to accomplish what he wants. Anybody have an idea? Thanks in advance

    This will help figure out the events. In the example, the event probably triggers the movieclip to jump a frame or causes it to change a box color for example.

    Thanks for the link but it doesn't really explain anything on that site

    It talks about events with mouses, listeners, and provides some links. I can't write the code for you as I don't know exactly how the event should occur.

    Code:
    function clickHandler(event:MouseEvent):void {
        // do stuff
    }
