    SWF export messing up colors

for some reason, the image i have in flash publishes darker reds than are shown in the workspace... my client is very upset by this and i have no idea why it's doing it. the settings are set to 100% quality and it isnt the import procedure since it shows up correctly in the workspace. why is it publishing darker??

What file is the original set in (Illustrator, Photoshop, PNG, JPG,etc)? You should also mention to your client that the color will be different on most screens just by the various resolution and color profiles set by every monitor. I honestly can't really see enough of a difference, and don't know if its a Flash thing or not. But have you tried to mess with the color in Flash to turn it the opposite way? I mean, if it looks a little too pink when it exports, then counter balance it a little and see if that helps. Use the 'Tint' property.

Also are you sure your client doesn't have really strange monitor colors?

figured it out. had to change it from JPEG to "PNG/Lossless".... i know its not much of a difference but this client is extremely picky.
