    Preventing decompilers?

    Hello

Would anybody know of a script/programme which would prevent people from using a Flash decompiler?

    Thanks.

There is no sure-fire way to prevent decompliation. Sorry, I wish there was one.

There is a way. Don't publish it. Don't let anyone but you see it.

Out of interest, are there any techniques that might "help" prevent decompilation, or atleast make it more difficult to decompile?

I think the difficulty is almost always the same. You can try to hide your code in external files, and by trying to secure things so they only work on your server (ie, need to provide credentials from a database or something). But really, not much will stop someone with a decompile program.

k from what i have heard

Most Decompilers can decopile swf's but they can't grab the actionscrpt even if it is not in external actionscript files.

Sothink SWF Decompiler is this way i compiled one of my own projects and tried to decompile it and it gives you nothing to work with every thing is a graphic.

So your pretty same when it comes to decompilers

They won't be able to output a FLA with your exact project, but they have access to all of the parts to put it back together themselves for the most part.
