need help creating/setting up a flash file

    Hello,

I am creating a flash file that has the following stats...

    1. Intro clip that will roll into a menu navigation with a footer and border
    2. overview section
    3. how to section
    4. get started section
    5. exit intro

The question I have is this. I want to create all of these as separate files and call them into a container. I figure that I can combine the "intro clip" with a "menu/navigation and footer/border" to be the container then call each section (2, 3, 4, 5,) when each one finishes. The navigation/menu will have buttons that can forward/back up to each section along with a background music...I've seen it done, but I can't find any info on this...

    Can anybody help?

A simple way would be to make each of these 'pages' as a movieClip and then call them onto the stage when selected.

You are wanting to do a few things, which you need to try and do separately. You should setup the audio from actionscript so it plays throughout, which you can watch a video tutorial on this at www.gotoandlearn.com. Its harder to import various pieces into a Flash movie than to just include them from the start. Its my opinion that you should only load from external sources when you aren't sure what needs to be loaded. In this case you have it outlined and it wouldn't make sense.

But it seems like you want a slideshow kind of thing. http://www.adobe.com/products/captivate/ is designed for those kinds of things.
